How to Automatically Send SpamGuard Emails to a Specific Folder
Want to keep your inbox clean? Here's how to automatically sort your SpamGuard emails — like spam lead alerts — into a custom folder.
✅ For Gmail Users:
- Open Gmail and click the ⚙️ gear icon in the top right, then choose "See all settings".
- Go to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
- Click "Create a new filter".
- In the "Subject" field, enter:
New Spam Lead
- Click "Create filter".
- Check:
- "Skip the Inbox (Archive it)"
- "Apply the label" → then create or choose a label like Spam Leads
- Click "Create filter" to save.
Now, any email with that subject will go directly into your custom folder.
✅ For Outlook Users:
- Open Outlook and click the "Rules" button under the Home tab.
- Choose "Manage Rules & Alerts", then click "New Rule".
- Select "Apply rule on messages I receive".
- Click Next, then check:
- "With specific words in the subject" → Add:
New Spam Lead
- Click Next, then choose:
- "Move it to the specified folder" → Choose or create a folder like Spam Leads
- Finish the rule to start organizing automatically.
🧠 Tip: We include "New Spam Lead" in the subject line of flagged leads so you can sort them easily.
